NTP PoE Clock System

The NTP Clock System (Network Time Protocol) offers both peace of mind and total control. Powered by PoE (Power over Ethernet), each clock efficiently combines power and data through a single Ethernet cable. With the capability to sync time from an (S)NTP server, the need for a master clock is eliminated.

All clocks within the NTP clock system can be independently managed through a user-friendly built-in web interface, enabling remote monitoring from any location with a network connection. The seamless integration of PoE ensures easy compatibility with existing networks, alleviating concerns about your current system.

The NTP PoE Clock System stands as an advanced, network-based solution, providing comprehensive control through the Network Clock Monitoring Software. Each IP-PoE clock connects to the facility’s network using a standard cable, receiving both PoE power and time data. Noteworthy features include the option to gather accurate time data from ten pre-programmed third-party NTP timer servers, accessible online.

This multi-source time data adds an extra layer of reliability. Alternatively, NTP-PoE Clocks can be configured to sync with an in-house NTP time server or a Master Clock. The flexibility to sync with any NTP server renders a master clock optional, presenting a cost-effective solution, particularly for smaller applications. Each NTP-PoE clock is equipped with a built-in web interface, facilitating easy access for configuration, diagnostics, email alerts, monitoring, and more.

Advantages

Clock Monitoring Software

Manage the entire clock system and make system-wide changes using this simple PC program. This program will display all of the clocks that are present on the network and allow you to check on their status.

Time Server Synchronization Redundancy

Store up to 10 internal or external (S)NTP server addresses (IP address/domain) to ensure synchronization in the event that one of the servers fails to respond/communicate.

Easy Installation

Only one UTP network cable (CAT5e/CAT6) is needed to relay both power and data to each clock.

Built-in web user interface

Each clock has a web interface built right in, allowing the user to configure features such as 12/24 hour mode (digital clocks only), time zone offset, time source, network settings, domestic and international Daylight Saving Time, etc.

Energy Efficient

Our NTP digital clocks can be set to lower the brightness or turn off the time display at a pre-scheduled time for power consumption efficiency.

Optional Master clock

A local master clock or NTP server is optional. All clocks are capable to synchronize their time in your existing local NTP server or free internet time servers.
