CSI NTP PoE Clock System Architecture

NTP PoE Clock System

The NTP PoE Clock System (Network Time Protocol) utilizes (Power over Ethernet) where each clock efficiently combines power and data through a 1 ethernet cable. All clocks can be independently managed through a user-friendly built-in web interface, enabling remote monitoring from any device (computer, tablet, smart phones) with the same network connection.

Notable feature includes the capability to receive precise time data from up to 5 NTP time servers, ensuring system redundancy. If the clock is unable to receive time updates from all 5 servers, it will continue displaying the time based on the last received data until it reconnects with one of the servers. This multi-source time synchronization provides an additional layer of reliability.

The flexibility to sync with any NTP server renders a master clock optional, presenting a cost-effective solution, particularly for smaller applications. Each NTP-PoE clock is equipped with a built-in web interface, facilitating easy access for configuration, diagnostics, email alerts, proactive monitoring, and more.

Our Advantages

Built-in web interface

Built-in web user interface

Each clock has a web interface built right in, allowing the user to easily configure features in any devices (computer, tablet , mobile phones) such as 12/24 hour mode (digital clocks only), time zone offset, time source, network settings, Daylight Saving Time, etc.
Clock Monitoring Software

Clock Monitoring Software

Monitor the entire clock system and make system-wide changes using this simple PC program. This program will display all of the clocks that are present on the network and allow you to check on their status.
Master clock is not required

No Master Clock required

A master clock is optional. All clocks are capable to synchronize their time in your existing local NTP server or free internet time servers.
Time Server Synchronization Redundancy

Time Server Synchronization Redundancy

Store up to 5 internal or external NTP server addresses to ensure reliability in the event that one of the servers fails to respond/communicate.
Easy PoE installation

Easy Installation

Only 1 UTP network cable (CAT5e/CAT6) is needed to relay both power and data to each clock making installation easy in new and existing facilities.
Energy efficient

Energy Efficient

Our NTP clocks are energy efficient, saving you electric consumption in the long run.
Multiple Clock Design Options

Multiple Clock Design Options

As NTP time synchronization is widely adopted, it is integrated into all of our partner clock models, offering you a variety of options to choose from.
International Standards Quality Compliant

International Quality Standards Compliant

All of our NTP clocks comply with international quality standards, guaranteeing reliability and durability. This results in an impressive Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) of 60,000 to 75,000 hours (6.8 years to 8.5 years).
